March 15th: On QVC with David & Jill.

Quick trip back to QVC to show some of the recipes in the new Deep South book. Let's just say the original "Death By Chocolate" was very well received by hosts David Venableand Jill Bauer.

Snow vs. Southern driver

When we got to Studio Park before 11 pm, the snow had just started to flutter a bit; when we left at 2 am, this is what we saw!

There was no scraper in the rental car, so Betsy and Nancy got umbrella wrappers from a stand in the QVC foyer to shield their hands and arms, found a piece of cardboard, and scraped the snow enough for me to see.

It was a harrowing drive back to our hotel for this Southern driver, but thankfully, not far.

Joan Rivers was so sweet and gracious to come and let us take her picture with us.

Along with many other cute and smart women who started their own businesses, we had done a little "Women Entrepreneurs" show teaser before the show began. I felt honored to be in their midst.
